Connected conveniently to the residential precincts are plans for a new indoor, neighbourhood shopping centre anchored by department stores, a cinema complex, a fresh food market and a host of high-end fashion boutiques. This centre is planned to cater for a new resident population of around 15,000 which could reasonably be expected to establish nearby when a number of large industrial properties are cleaned up and redeveloped.

With direct rail connection to all the Nelson Cove precincts and the Geelong CBD, this centre will round out the diverse range of interrelated land use needed to support the future population growth that will occur close by.
