Approximately 190 ha’s or 40% of the entire Nelson Cove project site has been set aside for a diverse range of housing options. Around 3,000 homes are planned within a series of neighbourhood villages all within easy walking distance of major parks, schools, shops, beaches and a host of community and commercial facilities.

The tentative residential land mix comprises:

  • approximately 1,650 premium priced exclusive waterfront housing lots each with a boat pontoon;
  • scope for more than 1,500 apartments and town houses in and around the marina’s and along a boulevard spine, most with unobstructed sea or lagoon views;

A series of ‘tram stops’ should eventually connect these residential areas to the other Nelson Cove precincts and the Geelong CBD.
